Abuja, Nigeria — Engineering from Africa

We forge technology for what comes next.

TrixForge builds intelligent software, digital products and scalable technology systems for businesses ready to move faster.

Scroll to begin

Chapter 01 — Movement

Technology should move your business forward.

Software that sits still is overhead. We build systems that shorten the distance between a decision and its effect.

See what we build

Chapter 02 — The problem

Business is complicated.

We turn complexity into systems.

Nothing here was missing. It was disconnected. We model the domain once, define who owns which data, and let the systems talk.

Chapter 03 — What we build

We build the digital machinery behind modern businesses.

Six practices. One engineering standard. Most engagements use three or four of them at once.

Capability 01

Digital Products

From product strategy to production software, we build digital experiences that customers actually use.

  • Product strategy & discovery
  • Interface & interaction design
  • Web applications

Chapter 04 — How we think

Good technology starts with understanding.

Understand

We start where the problem actually lives.

Before anything is designed, we sit with the people doing the work. We map the process as it runs today — including the workarounds — because that is where the real requirements are hiding.

Artifacts

  • Process map
  • Systems inventory
  • Constraint register
  • Success criteria

Deliverables

  • Discovery report
  • Prioritised problem statement

Architect

Decide the hard things while they are still cheap.

We define the domain model, data ownership, integration boundaries and failure modes up front. The architecture is written down and reviewed with your team — no black boxes.

Artifacts

  • Domain model
  • System architecture
  • API contracts
  • Threat model

Deliverables

  • Technical architecture document
  • Delivery plan

Build

Shipping in weeks, not at the end.

We build in vertical slices, each one demonstrable. Automated tests, CI and code review are part of the definition of done, not a later phase.

Artifacts

  • Working increments
  • Test suites
  • CI pipelines
  • Review logs

Deliverables

  • Production-ready software
  • Environment & deployment setup

Launch

A release is an operation, not an event.

Migration, rollback plans, monitoring and training are prepared before go-live. We stay in the room through the first cycles of real usage.

Artifacts

  • Migration plan
  • Runbooks
  • Dashboards
  • Training material

Deliverables

  • Live system
  • Operational handover

Evolve

The system keeps earning after we leave.

We measure how the system is used, retire what nobody needs, and extend what proves valuable. Your team can carry it forward — that is the point.

Artifacts

  • Usage analytics
  • Performance baselines
  • Backlog
  • Architecture reviews

Deliverables

  • Improvement roadmap
  • Support & enablement

Chapter 05 — Industries

Technology doesn't belong to one industry.

The systems change. The engineering discipline does not. Select an industry to see how we apply it.

Chapter 06 — Selected work

What we've built.

Project 01

Manufacturing2025

Enterprise Operations Platform

Nine sites, eleven spreadsheets and one monthly reporting cycle nobody trusted — replaced with a single operations platform.

Multi-site industrial group (anonymised)

01The problem

Production, inventory and maintenance data lived in separate spreadsheets at every site. Group reporting was assembled by hand each month, which meant leadership made decisions on data that was already four weeks old.

02The system

We modelled the group's operations as one domain — sites, lines, batches, assets, downtime — then built a platform around it. Site teams capture data where the work happens; the group sees a live consolidated view.

03The build

A Laravel core with a PostgreSQL event-sourced production ledger, a React operations console, offline-tolerant capture on the plant floor, and a reporting layer that recomputes on write rather than on request.

Scope

  • Discovery across 9 sites
  • Domain & data architecture
  • Operations console
  • Plant-floor capture app
  • Reporting & analytics
  • Rollout & training

Payments & Settlement Infrastructure

A ledger that balances under load, and settlement that reconciles itself before the operations team arrives.

Pan-African payments operator (anonymised)

01The problem

Transaction volume had outgrown a ledger that was never designed to be one. Reconciliation ran overnight, broke often, and every break required a human to trace a payment across four systems.

02The system

We rebuilt the money layer as a strict double-entry ledger with idempotent transaction ingestion, then automated reconciliation against provider and bank statements.

03The build

Go services behind an API gateway, Kafka for transaction streams, PostgreSQL for the ledger of record, and a monitoring console that surfaces breaks as exceptions rather than as a nightly report.

Scope

  • Ledger architecture
  • Transaction ingestion
  • Provider & bank integrations
  • Automated reconciliation
  • Monitoring console
  • Load & failure testing

Built on technology that scales.

We pick boring, well-understood technology by default and reserve novelty for the places where it actually buys something.

Chapter 09 — Proof

Technology is only valuable when it creates impact.

We measure what a system changed — cycle time, error rate, the number of people no longer copying data between spreadsheets.

Chapter 10 — Culture

We are engineers, designers, strategists and problem solvers.

Curiosity

01We ask why the process exists before we automate it.

Precision

02Correct beats clever. Especially where money is involved.

Ownership

03We carry the problem until it is genuinely solved.

Speed

04Small releases, often. Momentum is a design goal.

Impact

05Software that nobody uses is a cost, not an asset.

Chapter 11 — Insights

Thinking beyond the code.

The ledger is the product

Automation is a decision problem, not a labour problem
